ISLAMABAD - Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says a significant operation has been launched against fake news and propaganda, and that additional arrests would be made.
He stated 32 members of the banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan were arrested in an action in a tweet on Friday.
According to the Minister of Information, these individuals were using phoney social media accounts to spread malicious information.
