INDIA - Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has been released from prison after the Bombay High Court granted him bail in a drug case.
Prior to Aryan Khan's release, a large presence of police was mobilised and barricades were erected outside the Arthur Road Jail.
The son was received by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, and he was held in custody for three weeks.
Aryan was supposed to be released on Friday, but his bail orders did not reach the prison authorities by the deadline of 5:30 p.m., so he stayed another night in jail.
Following his release from prison, Aryan Khan left for Mannat in front of a large audience.
Meanwhile, hundreds of admirers have gathered outside Khan's Mannat mansion to await Aryan's return.
Aryan Khan was apprehended on October 2 when a cruise ship party was raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
