Cricketer Abid Ali rushed to hospital after chest pain during match

Cricketer Abid Ali, a right-handed Test hitter, was brought to the hospital after  chest pain while batting during a Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match in Karachi.
The 34-year-old batsman was sent to the hospital by event organisers after complaining of chest trouble, according to sources.

Abid Ali has undergone a series of medical tests and is currently being monitored.

However, it is unknown whether the pain was caused by a heart condition.

Abid Ali is representing Central Punjab in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

The UBL Sports Complex is hosting a match between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Central Punjab.
