Earthquake jolts several parts of Sindh and KP

On early Sunday, 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Pakistan's southeastern and northwestern regions, jolting many Pakistanis from their beds and shaking a number of cities.


Quake tremors were detected in Hyderabad, Kotri, and other regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the early hours of Sunday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Tremors were reported around 5:27 a.m., according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre Tremors, with the centre of the quake 70 kilometres west of Hyderabad and a depth of 30 kilometres into the ground.

Swat, Shangla, Buner, Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Chitral, and Malakand were among the cities in KP that were rattled by the earthquake.
