Naya Pakistan Sehat Card

PM Khan launches Naya Pakistan Sehat Card for whole of Punjab

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday launches Naya Pakistan Sehat Card initiative, which provides each household in Punjab province with a Rs 1 million yearly health insurance cover.

Riyasat-e-Madina, according to Imran Khan, was the world's first welfare state. He claims that a Madina-style welfare state can only be formed once humanity has been served in any given country.

When my mother was diagnosed with cancer, he added, our family had to go through a lot of challenges. Then I considered constructing a cancer hospital specifically for the underprivileged.

Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital, he noted, was founded on the same principles. He claimed that the treatment of cancer patients at Shaukat Khanum Hospital costs 10 billion rupees each year.

According to the Objectives Resolution, Pakistan was supposed to be an Islamic welfare state.

He praised Punjab's Chief Minister and Health Minister for introducing the province's Naya Pakistan Health Card Program.

Imran Khan announced that thirty million health cards will be handed to all families in the province within three months, beginning in January next year in Lahore.

He stated that the PTI government's economic stance during the Corona crisis was praised by the international community, and that despite opposition criticism, we did not impose a rigorous lockdown because we cared for the wellbeing of the poor people in the country.

He stated that measures are being done to keep price increases under control, despite the fact that this is a global trend these days.

In three years, 440 billion rupees would be spent on the Health Card Program, according to the Prime Minister.

According to him, the private sector will be encouraged to participate in the healthcare sector as a result of this policy, and hospitals will be built in every underdeveloped area.

He stated that every effort is being made to assist the public during the price hike period.

He stated that every household with a monthly income of less than fifty thousand rupees will be given an Ehsaas Ration Card, which will entitle them to a thirty percent discount on flour, beans, and sugar from 'Karyana' stores.

He stated that 62 million scholarships worth 47 billion rupees are being given to deserving kids from poor households to motivate them.

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, speaking at the event, stated that the health sector is the Punjab government's top priority. In the previous three years, he claims, nine hospitals have been built.
