Traffic Police Lahore catch car with 166 unpaid e-challans

On Tuesday, traffic police in Lahore were able to apprehend a man who had 166 e-challans issued for violating traffic laws in the city's Nawan Kot neighbourhood.

The guy was permitted to go after interrogation, but papers of his car were taken.

The individual had disobeyed 142 traffic signals, received 12 tickets for unlawful lane changes, and had also disregarded the stop line rule many times. As a result, he was fined Rs80,400 by traffic cops, who added that his documents would only be released once he paid the charge.

Lahore Traffic Police announced on Twitter that users can verify how many e-challans have been registered against their automobiles by sending their vehicle's chassis number to 8815.
