LAHORE -Wi-Tribe was an internet service provider (ISP) that provides advanced LTE services in Pakistan's main cities. However, the ISP failed to comply with the terms and conditions of the license covering the supply of uninterrupted licensed services to its wide range of clients.

PTA terminates Wi-Tribe's License

LAHORE -Wi-Tribe was an internet service provider (ISP) that provides advanced LTE services in Pakistan's main cities.
However, the ISP failed to comply with the terms and conditions of the license covering the supply of uninterrupted licensed services to its wide range of clients.

As a result, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has canceled the license of Wi-Tribe Pakistan Ltd. The PTA panel, which was chaired by Chairman Maj. Gen. Amir Azeem Bajwa(R), heard Wi-Tribe Pakistan Ltd.'s show-cause notice. Following that, the premier decided to stop Wi-services Tribe's with immediate effect.

PTA has also issued orders to all cellular mobile licensees, Long Distance & International, Local Loop (WLL & FLL),and CVAS licensees to withdraw telecommunication facilities given to WiTribe under the licenses and provide a compliance report within three working days of receiving the order.
