Minister for Industries and Production, Syed Murtaza Mehmood has asked the vehicle manufacturers to reduce prices of vehicles in view of decline in US dollar vis-a-vis Pakistani Rupee.
Chairing a meeting of Auto Industry Development and Export Policy in Islamabad, the Minister lauded the companies which reduced prices and urged other companies to follow suit.
The meeting attended by leading vehicle manufacturers, part suppliers, government officials and representatives of consumers, discussed policy making, price reduction, export promotion, enhancement of localisation and import.
