A 24-year-old lady was slain by a security guard in Lahore's Gulberg neighborhood after she refused marriage proposal.
Neha, 24, worked at a five-star hotel on Mall Road and lived with her mother in the servant quarters of a property in the Gulberg district, according to police. Arif, a neighborhood security guard, expressed interest in marrying her. Arif proposed to Neha on Saturday night when she arrived home, and he pushed she accept his proposal.
When Neha refused to marry him, the two got into a disagreement, and Arif shot her to death. The suspect was apprehended after police received a complaint of the occurrence, and an investigation is continuing.
